I'm just starting a TV unit for my son. It's the first piece of furniture I've made. I'm using veneered birch plywood for the carcass. Will glued dominoes be sufficient for the corner joints or should I use something else?
Welcome to the forum, and nice choice for a first project
Glued dominoes are absolutely fine for a TV unit carcass, especially with veneered birch ply, plenty strong enough if everything fits well and you’ve got good glue coverage. Just take your time with alignment and you’ll be golden. Good luck with it, and don’t forget to post some pics as it comes together!
