Guest bedroom furniture ideas needed

I'm putting together a guest bedroom from the ground up for a friend who's temporarily moving in while they search for a new place. They'll be staying for a couple of months, so I'm looking for some furniture inspiration, particularly for a bed, a chest of drawers, and a desk. Any suggestions?

Just did something similar for my cousin who crashed with us for a few months. I went with a full-size platform bed with built-in drawers underneath, it saved space and gave extra storage. Picked up a simple 3-drawer dresser from IKEA and paired it with a small writing desk that fits well by the window. If you've got limited space, a daybed with storage or a fold-down desk can work wonders.
