Living room layout

This is my very first post here and hoping for some layout help!! Our living room is long and rectangular with two low windows, a fireplace, and two doorways. We want to mount a TV above the fireplace and get a big sectional, something comfy and long enough for my 6 foot 3 husband. We're getting rid of the old chairs and rug, and want to add someting like a coffee table and lots of seating that still leaves space for our 5y/o to play. Any layout ideas would be really appreciated!

Mounting the TV above the fireplace makes sense, but be careful with neck strain. A deep L-shaped sectional along the longest wall could work well, just be sure it doesn't block doorways or windows.

I love layout planning, it's like Tetris but with furniture! One time I spent hours sketching room plans and ended up rearranging everything at 2 a.m. because inspiration hit, it was totally worth it, though
