Sofa Keeps Sliding

No matter how we position this couch, it keeps slowly sliding out of place, its a medium weight couch and our floors are hardwood, I dont know if that matters. It usually happens after a few rounds of sitting, getting up, repeat, so we tried the usual rubber pads from the hardware store, but they either collect dust or shift over time. I considered bolts but nah I wrote it off so I dont ruin the finish on the floor

Are there specific grippers, under rug solutions, or DIY tricks that will help. I'm very open to ideas even if they sound weird
Thanks!

Oh man, hardwood floors can really complicate things, can't they? Rubber pads definitly help, but as you mentioned, they're like dust magnets. If you want a more reliable solution, you might want to check out some heavy-duty furniture grippers or even a non-slip rug pad that goes under the entire couch area. I've also tried cutting up those rubber shelf liners, and it surprisingly worked for me.Have you given that a try yet?

I experienced that struggle and it's really such a headache. I get you. Anyway, like @TheLastNail here suggested, definitely get rubber grippers. Layer them under a thin non-slip shelf liner and you're gonna be with a weird combination that totally works. :) Good luck!

I completely agree, I've experienced that myself, and it was a real struggle. That mix of rubber grippers and the liner worked like a charm for me too
